Cardboard Boxes come in many shapes and sizes depending on the customers requirements. Combined Manufacturing will custom design your packaging to suit your product. Below are some examples of the more common Cardboard Box styles. Any of the below styles can be customised with size, print or product weight not a problem.
RSC – Regular Slotted Case
This is the most common box style with flaps that meet in the centre both top and bottom. Most commonly used in industrial packaging the RSC is cost effective and easy to design.
HSC – Half Slotted Case
The same as the RSC but with only one set of flaps. Sits over the top of a product to provide protection
FFSC – Fully Overlapping Slotted Case
Flaps both top and bottom that reach the full width of the box. Suited to heavier and bulkier items to give extra protection.
5 PANEL FOLDER/WRAP AROUND
This will wrap around your product and can be as low as 20mm in height.
This style is excellent for packaging flat articles. A Five Panel Folder can be produced in a style that included standard, butting or fully overlapping flaps.
DIECUT – SELF LOCKING, HINGED LID (ELEPHANT EARS)
This box is a customizable die cut design which self locks through its hinged lid design with no requirement for tape or glue. This design can be altered to include perforations and dividers and is perfect for shelf ready and point of sale packaging. Easy and quick to assemble this style provides countless packaging options.
DIECUT – SELF LOCKING, HINGED LID (PIZZA BOX STYLE)
Another example of a customizable die cut design which self locks through its hinged lid requiring no tape or glue. This design is more recognisable as a pizza box but is a brilliant option for shelf ready packaging and product marketing. Easy and quick to assemble this style works particularly well for online order shipping or food presentation.
TRAY AND LID – CSB
This style is a crease and slotted box blank that forms a tray these can be glued or stapled
